Our Product: Amalian SF
At Medipro Clinics, we use Amalian SF dermal filler. This premium product is a cross-linked hyaluronic acid filler with an excellent safety profile, designed to deliver smooth, natural-looking results. Amalian SF integrates seamlessly with your tissue and typically lasts 9 to 12 months before gradually being absorbed by the body.
Pre-Treatment Guidance
Anticoagulants: Avoid blood-thinning medications such as aspirin, ibuprofen, and similar anti-inflammatory drugs for several days before your appointment, as these can increase the risk of bruising.
Antihistamine: We recommend taking Loratadine (a non-drowsy antihistamine) for 3 days before and 3 days after your treatment to help minimise swelling.
Alcohol: Please avoid alcohol for 48 hours before and 48 hours after your treatment, as this can increase bruising and swelling.

The dermal fillers we use at Medipro Clinics are made from hyaluronic acid, a non-animal, synthetic substance that occurs naturally in the human body. Hyaluronic acid attracts and retains moisture, which is what gives the filler its volume-restoring and hydrating properties.
Results from Amalian SF dermal filler typically last between 9 and 12 months. The filler is gradually and naturally absorbed by the body over time. Many clients choose to have a top-up treatment once a year to maintain their results.
Discomfort is minimal. A topical anaesthetic cream is applied before the treatment to numb the area, and the Amalian SF filler itself contains lidocaine (a local anaesthetic) for added comfort during the injection. Most clients describe the sensation as a mild pressure.
We schedule two appointments approximately 2 weeks apart. The first appointment involves the initial treatment, and the second allows us to assess how the filler has settled and make any fine adjustments. This two-stage approach ensures the most precise, natural-looking results possible.
As with any injectable treatment, there may be some temporary swelling, redness, or bruising at the injection sites. These effects are usually mild and resolve within a few days. Following the pre-treatment and aftercare guidance provided by your clinician will help minimise any side effects.
Yes. One of the advantages of hyaluronic acid fillers is that they can be dissolved using an enzyme called hyaluronidase. If for any reason you are unhappy with your results, the filler can be safely and effectively reversed. This provides additional peace of mind for all our clients.
